What is the BCCE Port Towns Collaborative?
The BCCE Port Towns Collaborative was created to collaborate amongst the leaders of the communities comprising the Port Towns to increase the economic viability and revitalization of the towns and the surrounding incorporated and unincorporated areas through, among other things, collaboration, planning, strategizing, community engagement and economic development.
2026 Port Towns Preliminary Sector Plan
The Port Towns Preliminary Sector Plan was published on February 19th, 2026 by The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission Prince George's County Planning Department. The plan details policies and strategies for the Port Towns to consider for categories such as land use, economic prosperity, transportation and mobility, and more. Alongside these recommendations, collaboration with BCCE is encouraged. It is a part of BCCE's mission to align its projects with those recommended by the plan.
